The intention for this album is to create music to accompany qigong practice, and I began working on it while on kung fu retreat in Thailand. I slowed down the beats to match the pace of the breath, created lush synths to embody the energy, and played flutes in exotic scales to induce meditation. The prayer for this album is that it can bring the listener deeper into their internal world - through deepening their breath, syncing with their heartbeat, stilling their mind, and smoothly moving their energy. I had been practicing to this music for the 3 months prior to release, continually attuning the music and only adding elements that assist the flow. While the initial inspiration is qigong, it is just as suitable for yoga, dance, meditation, and enjoyable listening.

The bandcamp download is donation-based and I wish this music to reach the yoga, qigong, dance, and meditation practices of spiritual-seekers worldwide.
